Campfire Cooking in Another World Season 2 Is Officially Announced
On October 29, 2023, the official X (formerly Twitter) account of Campfire Cooking in Another World confirmed that a second season of the show is in the works. However, the release date and other specifics have not yet been revealed.
To celebrate the confirmation of season two, the anime’s director, Kiyoshi Matsuda, and the light novel illustrator, Masa, each drew illustrations.
Campfire Cooking in Another World Season 2 Cast
Although the cast for the second season of Campfire Cooking in Another World has not yet been known, it is expected that the main Japanese voice actors from season one will reprise their roles, including:
- Yuma Uchida as Tsuyoshi Mukoda
- Satoshi Hino as Fel
- Hina Kino as Sui
- Maaya Uchida as Ninrir
- Saho Shirasu as Rusalka
- Yo Taichi as Agni
- Yuko Kaida as Kishar
The first season of Campfire Cooking in Another World aired from January to March 2023 and consisted of 12 episodes. The anime was produced by studio MAPPA, known for their works such as “Jujutsu Kaisen” and “Attack on Titan.” Kiyoshi Matsuda directed the anime, while Michiko Yokote was responsible for the series composition.
Nao Otsu designed the characters, while Masato Koda, Kana Utatane, and the Kuricorder Quartet composed the music. The same staff is expected to handle the second season’s production.
