    After over a year of silence, we finally got a new teaser trailer for the highly anticipated Chainsaw Man: The Movie – Reze Arc at Jump Festa 2025. Along with the trailer, new key visuals were also revealed. The movie will adapt one of the manga’s most popular arcs, the Bomb-Girl Arc, focusing on Denji’s complicated relationship with the mysterious Reze.

    Chainsaw Man: The Movie – Reze Arc is scheduled to arrive in Japanese theaters in 2025, though an exact release date hasn’t been announced yet. For international fans, the movie is likely to be released 3-4 months after its Japanese premiere, following the typical distribution pattern for anime films.

    The newly released trailer has left fans speechless, showcasing the impressive animation quality and intense action sequences that MAPPA has become known for. The art style appears to differ slightly from season 1, which is a good thing.

    The first key visual highlights the iconic Chainsaw Man in action, while the second shows an adorable moment between Denji and Reze.

    Staff And Cast

    MAPPA has revealed the key staff for the film. Tatsuya Yoshihara, the episode director of Chainsaw Man season 1, is directing the movie. Returning staff includes scriptwriter Hiroshi Seko, character designer Kazutaka Sugiyama, and music composer Kensuke Ushio.

    New team members are Souta Yamazaki (Sub Character Designer), Sota Shigetsugu (Action Animation Director), Shoichi (Main Animator), and devil designers Riki Matsuura and Kiyotaka Oshiyama.

    The film will feature the core voice cast from season 1, with Kikunosuke Toya reprising his role as Denji and Reina Ueda voicing Reze. Other returning cast members are Tomori Kusunoki as Makima, Shogo Sakata as Aki Hayakawa, and Fairouz Ai as Power.
