2024 was a blessed year for the anime community, with many successful hits, including Dandadan. After the first season of Dandadan wrapped up in December 2024, a sequel was officially confirmed to be in production and will come out this July. In addition, a key visual for the new season was shared, featuring Jiji and the ominous Evil Eye.

Following the announcement of Dandadan Season 2, a teaser trailer was released at the anime stage event during Jump Festa 2025, revealing that Abel Góngora will join as co-director. The PV doesn’t reveal too much but showcases the antagonist Evil Eye and highlights our beloved characters.

Dandadan Season 2 Release Date and Where to Watch
While the new season of the anime is slated to be released in July 2025, a specific date has yet to be disclosed.
Crunchyroll will stream season 2 when it airs, just like they did with season 1. Fans can also expect the new installment to be available on Netflix and Hulu.
Additionally, it has been revealed that the series will continue to air as part of the Super Animeism TURBO programming block on MBS and TBS.

Based on Yukinobu Tatsu’s manga, Dandadan has released 183 chapters in 18 volumes so far. The anime’s first season ran for 12 episodes and adapted 33 chapters in total. The season ended on a major cliffhanger with the reveal of Jiji’s haunted house and the mysterious charms hidden within.
The second season is set to begin with chapter 34 and will continue adapting the Cursed House arc. Following this arc, the sequel is expected to cover the Evil Eye Arc and the Kaiju Arc.
