After years of clamoring for a proper continuation, fans of the beloved Isekai comedy anime KonoSuba can finally rejoice as the highly anticipated third season is officially set for release on April 10th, 2024. The announcement was made on March 1st via the official anime website, with a promo video previewing the upcoming season’s theme songs.
Konosuba Season 3 Release date
The third season of KonoSuba is scheduled to premiere on Wednesday, April 10, 2024, at 11:30 PM JST on TOKYO MX in Japan. Additionally, it will be broadcast on other major Japanese TV networks, including BS11, KBS Kyoto, and Sun TV, starting at 1:00 AM on April 11th. TV Aichi will also air the show slightly later, at 1:30 AM JST, on the same date.
Crunchyroll will be streaming KonoSuba season 3 for viewers outside of Japan.

Studio Drive, known for shows such as “Demon Prince of Momochi House” and “To Your Eternity Season 2,” is animating Konosuba Season 3. Drive also produced the “Konosuba: An Explosion on This Wonderful World!” spin-off that aired last year.

The second promotional video for the third season of KonoSuba was released on the KADOKAWA YouTube channel. The video gives fans a sneak peek at what they can expect from the upcoming season.
It also previews the anime’s opening theme song, “Growing Up,” which will be performed by Machico, as well as the ending theme song, “Ano Hi no Mama no Bokura,” which will be sung by the main voice actors, Sora Amamiya, Rie Takahashi, and Ai Kayano.
KonoSuba: God’s Blessing on this Wonderful World! adapted from the light novel series written by Natsume Akatsuki and illustrated by Kurone Mishima. The novel was published by KADOKAWA Sneaker Bunko label from 2013 to 2020, spanning 17 volumes.
The anime’s first two seasons and the movie covered the initial five volumes of the light novel. Therefore, Konosuba Season 3 is expected to adapt volumes six and seven, likely consisting of around 10 episodes similar to the previous seasons.
