The popular isekai anime Mushoku Tensei is returning soon with the highly anticipated second part of its second season. On February 3rd, 2024, the show’s official X account announced that Part 2 will debut on April 7th. In addition to the release date, a new teaser video and key visual also dropped, giving a taste of what’s to come.
Mushoku Tensei Season 2 Part 2 Release date
The second part of Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation season 2 is scheduled to premiere on April 7, 2024, at 24:00 JST in Japan on Tokyo MX, BS11, and KBS Kyoto. Additionally, Crunchyroll has confirmed that it will stream Part 2 as it airs in Japan.
The new key visual depicts Rudeus, Sylphy, and Rudeus’s grown-up sisters, Norn and Aisha.

Ryosuke Shibuya is the new director of the second part of Mushoku Tensei Season 2, replacing Hiroki Hirano, who helmed the first part.

Season 2 of the anime is split into two cours (parts), with a total of 25 episodes. The first cour ran from July to September 2023 and consisted of 13 episodes. The second cour will air from April 7 to June 2024 and consist of 12 episodes.
Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation is adapted from the light novel of the same name, written by Rifujin na Magonote and illustrated by Shirotaka.
The first half of Season 2 covered volumes 7 through 9 of the light novel, which comprised the “Adventurer Arc” and “University Arc.” The second half is expected to adapt volumes 10 to 12 and kick off with the “Newlyweds Arc.”
In the upcoming episodes, we will likely witness Rudeus and Sylphic prepare for their wedding and start their journey as a couple. Rudeus’ sisters, Norn and Aisha, will also be returning in the second part of the season.
