An official release date for the fourth season of The Rising of the Shield Hero anime has not been announced yet. However, given the production timelines of the previous seasons, fans may have to wait until at least early or mid-2025.

The light novel was first published by Media Factory in 2013 and currently consists of 22 volumes. The third season of the anime covered volumes 10 through 12, concluding the Fallen Heroes arc. This means there is ample content remaining for season 4 and beyond.
