The official website of the anime adaptation of Oblivion Battery has recently confirmed that the show will begin on April 9, 2024. In addition to the release date, the site also shared details about the broadcast and dropped two promo videos, one featuring the opening theme song and the second featuring the ending theme song.
Oblivion Battery Anime Release Date
The anime Oblivion Battery is scheduled to premiere in Japan on Tuesday, April 9, 2024, at 24:00 JST on TV Tokyo and its affiliated channels, such as TV Osaka, TV Aichi, TV Setouchi, and TV Hokkaido. Additionally, the show will later be broadcast on AT-X, starting on Friday, April 12th, at 8:00 pm JST. Crunchyroll will simulcast the anime outside of Japan as part of its spring 2024 anime lineup.
Also, Prime Video will stream Oblivion Battery in Japan immediately after its initial broadcast premiere.

The Oblivion Battery anime is being produced by one of our favorite studios, MAPPA, under the direction of Masato Nakazono. Michiko Yokote is handling the series’ composition, Hitomi Hasegawa is designing the characters, and Tomoki Kikuya and Hiroko Yamasaki are in charge of the music.

Created by Eko Mikawa, Oblivion Battery (known as “Bōkyaku Battery” in Japanese) is a well-liked baseball manga series. It has been serialized in Shōnen Jump+ since April 2018 and currently has seventeen tankōbon volumes.
